About me
Beth Dillard is Associate Professor and Director Multilingual Education Community Programs - Renton in the Woodring College of Education at Western Washington University. In addition to teaching courses in the Multilingual Education Program, she coordinates two Grow Your Own (GYO) certification routes for future elementary and secondary dual-language teachers. Prior to her work in higher education, Beth was a high school social studies and English as a second language (ESL) teacher. She holds a Ph.D. in Second languages education from the University of Minnesota (2016), a Master’s in Education from the University of Oregon (2006), and a Bachelor’s degree in History from Auburn University (2003).
