This session will describe the journey we have taken in our small school district to establish an assistive technology department, from creation to revision to maintenance. We will share the process we've used that supports finding the right tools to allow students to show what they know and can do regardless of physical or mental ability. Lastly, we will give practical suggestions for your workplace to begin the process of consideration and implementation of setting up an assistive technology team.
