About me
Founded in 2013, Living Green exists to spread awareness of the hazards of e-waste and provide an eco-friendly way to dispose of unused electronics. Electronic waste (e-waste) contains toxic and hazardous materials such as mercury, lead, cadmium, beryllium, and chromium. Electronics recycling (e-cycling) conserves natural resources by recovering valuable materials from old electronics that can be used to make new products. This process significantly reduces pollution and promotes the efficient use of raw materials. E-cycling isn’t just about preserving the environment, it’s also about creating opportunities to change lives. At Living Green, we believe in empowering the local community by being of service to individuals and organizations. Our efforts help to provide ready-to-use electronics at a fraction of the cost to those who do not have the resources to purchase new hardware. We also partner with several philanthropic organizations like PAWS and the Special Olympics throughout the year to raise funds and awareness for important causes.
