Deanna Tompkins serves as the elementary inclusion specialist for the Auburn School District. She supports individual teachers, teacher teams, administrators, and other school staff in their efforts to identify and dismantle barriers to inclusion, and to plan and implement inclusive building systems and classroom strategies that result in increased access to learning and participation for all students. Prior to her role as an inclusion specialist, Deanna served as an instructional specialist, general education classroom teacher and special education paraeducator.
