About me
I am excited to be in the second year of a new role for me, and for our state's Developmental Disabilities Administration, as the DDA Educational Liaison Program Manager. I came to DDA after a decade at our state's Education Ombuds office, where we collaborated with families, students, educators and community partners to support full access to school for all students. Now at DDA, I get to focus and work with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, their families, DDA case managers, educators and other community partners, continuing the collaborative effort of building inclusive school communities where all students have opportunity to engage and thrive. There is always more to learn, and new ideas to explore when it comes to thinking about how we can work together to make our state's promise of access to a quality education a reality for all, and to build communities, including schools, where everyone belongs and can thrive. I hope we'll get a chance to connect!
