The rapid growth of AI is exciting and scary at the same time. Basic AI literacy can provide some guardrails for using tools, such as AI, with learners, including learners with disabilities.

Outcomes of the session include:
  • Basic AI Literacy skills including background on large language models
  • Using AI to support IEP development
  • Using AI to support accessible educational materials
  • Guidelines to know when AI may be the right tool while maintaining student privacy and meeting learning goals
