Access to and participation in art is a federal and state standard in the United States. Authentic participation in art is essential for students to develop skills in complex problem-solving, cognition, physical development, access methods, social skills, critical-thinking, agency, self expression, and literacy. This session is packed with fun inclusive art projects that are full of opportunities to practice emergent and conventional literacy skills, AAC usage, and switch access. You will leave with ideas and resources to create an inclusive art program.
